Recommended action
You will receive this error message if you try to send an e-mail via a provider other than webmail.securehost.de.
To fix the error, you need a so-called "SPF entry" for your third-party provider. You can create this entry as follows:
- Contact your third-party provider and ask for the correct SPF entry.
- Log in at my.securehost.de (you received the access data for this together with the access data for your mailbox).
- Select the domain for which you want to store an SPF entry.
- Select the tab "DNS"
- At the bottom of the table you will see the existing SPF entry.
Attention! The existing entry may only be added to and not deleted, otherwise important functions in the omnichannel tools will no longer work! - You complete the entry by creating a new SPF entry in which both the existing values and the value required by your third-party provider are entered.
- After you have added the combined value, you can delete the second, obsolete SPF entry.
